More Details

Eco Logic was sub-contracted by the Landscape Architecture firm working on the design of this new park for the city of Zionsville. This privately owned parcel will eventually be given to the city as a park focused on restored natural habitat, passive recreation, and nature interpretation. Eco Logic mapped the plant communities, documented the invasive plant pressure, and described the current and potential habitats on the property. Maps were made of the current plant communities, invasive species locations and densities, and recommended restoration strategies. All this information was assembled into a report that includes descriptions of the plant communities, invasive species and their threat level, habitats and their likely faunal use, and restored communities that will maximize the habitat potential of the property.
