As a land steward who chooses wetland installation with Eco Logic, you help to improve water quality, control erosion, provide food and shelter to wildlife, and restore our disappearing wetlands.

Eco Logic utilizes shade tolerant native grasses, sedges, and wildflowers, which provided permanent solutions for stabilizing and beautifying your wooded areas.

Eco Logic visits your site to evaluate the soil type, topography, hydrology, existing vegetation, and exposure to sunlight. With knowledge of these unique local conditions, along with your management goals and aesthetic requests, Eco Logic develops a specially designed blueprint and plan for successful ecological restoration of your land, complete with careful selection of plants and necessary materials.
After evaluating your site and developing a plan with you, Eco Logic prepares the site with a variety of security measures for successful implementation of the restoration project. Usually, this involves eradicating undesirable vegetation, such as invasive plant species, or installing erosion blankets and other bioengineering materials to hold soil, seed and plants in place to ensure a clean start for your native plant community.
Eco Logic customizes native plant seed mixes to best fit your site and your aesthetic requests. Establishing a successful native plant community requires a proper balance of grasses and wildflowers and of aggressive and non-aggressive plant species. Utilizing their field-tested experience with these and other factors, like germination times and growth rates, Eco Logic customizes a seed mix to make your native plant community diverse, stable, and healthy.
To avoid the detrimental effects of tilling and plowing, Eco Logic uses a Truax No-Till Seed Drill for installation of native grass and wildflower seedings on larger properties. A no-till seed drill installs and packs the seeds at proper depths, thus ensuring successful germination and proliferation of your native plant community.
Eco Logic installs high quality native trees and shrubs grown from seeds collected in the wild. Consequently, your plants are guaranteed to be of wild ecotype, specifically adapted to your local area for ease of transplanting and establishment and low-maintenance guarantees.
Eco Logic offers post-planting management services to ensure your native plant community gets off to a good start. After your property is on its way to full native restoration, we work with you or your staff on developing a long-term, easy-to-follow, low-maintenance plan, then turn it over to you; or we continue semi-regular maintenance for an indefinite period. In fact, each proposal comes with a written three-year maintenance agreement.
