An outdoor environmental educational center was designed by Craig Flandermeyer L.A. with Schmidt & Associates. The center was created by installing trails, an amphitheater, observation areas, and native plant communities.
Eco Logic designed and implemented a streambank naturalization plan for the Bryan Park Stream. The design addressed all erosion control issues coupled with the desire to improve water quality, reduce maintenance and add visual interest to the park.
Our client wanted to reduce future landscape maintenance cost of their
new development. A native grass and wildflower mix was installed by seed beneath straw and coconut rolled erosion blanket.
This was a newly developed park, which had very little topsoil to support healthy vegetation. Run off from the adjacent property was causing massive erosion.
The Marian College Eco Lab is a 40 acre wetland and floodplain forest complex used as an outdoor biology labratory. Eco Logic LLC installed shoreline, wetland and prairie plant communities to control erosion, add biodiversity and increase wildlife habitat.
