Educational Outreach

The Discovering the Science of the Environment program is an experiential, inquiry-based, outdoor laboratory focused science education program for 4th-9th grade classes in central Indiana. Based in water resource and ecological restoration research and education programs at CEES this program effectively bridges applied environmental research and technology to school education and outreach.

Indiana Native Plant & Wildflower Society (INPAWS)

INPAWS’ small grants program supports projects that are in line with the mission of the society.
INPAWS’ Mission: Our mission is to promote the appreciation, preservation, conservation, utilization and scientific study of the flora native to Indiana and to educate the public about the values, beauty, diversity and environmental importance of indigenous vegetation.
